Polybox Handbox
The Polybox Handbox is a fully re-usable container which is ideal for hand-held collections.
Molded in tough polyethylene, its unique ‘waist’ shape is light and comfortable to hold.

- Funnel slot with security bar: Accepts multiple coins and notes with ease while protecting contents.
- Large capacity/label area: Holds 3 kilos of mixed coins with generous area for Appeal message.
- Practical waist shape: Comfortable and convenient to hold, makes coins seem lighter.
- Moulded feet: Allows for both hand held and counter use.
- Optional Security Chain: Supplied separately or factory fitted for added security when on a counter.
Top opening for safety, with a snap-in closure disc incorporating a wide funnel slot.
It is available ex-stock in several bright colours (red, blue, yellow, green, orange & violet). Other colours can be ordered by special arrangement.
A positive seal to the closure disc is provided by a self-adhesive, tamper-evident paper Polybox Ringseal® that comes with a Box Identity Sticker for record purposes. The Polybox Ringseal® is an essential part of the patented sealing system.
We also supply self-adhesive tamper evident paper seals for the top, vinyl side labels and direct printing.
Opening the Polybox Handbox
- Insert a suitable strong lever (a wide-bladed screwdriver, for example) in the gap at the edge of plug opposite one of the two small arrow marks located within the inner rim of the funnel. DO NOT INSERT DEEPLY! This may damage the funnel!
- Push down lever for about 3-5mm towards the under body of the plug and lever plug upwards. Resistance will be encountered but the plug will pop out. ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD YOU INSERT THE LEVER INTO THE FUNNEL OR SLOT.
- After removing the contents, press plug back into hole.
